St. Patty's Day Parade

I headed out on Sunday to Jim Thorpe's St. Patrick's Day Parade with Emily, Nick, Michael and Aidan. That's me on the left, being a good little Irish girl with my corned beef sandwich, tooting my horn like a maniac. God, I love that horn.

The parade started a little late, but that was okay, since the buildup was just one big, gigantic party. Everyone was drinking, (I even had a green beer!) we were blowing our horns like crazy, Nick and Michael were playing Frisbee in the street (and might have gotten on the news!) then started a rather disastrous game with the people across the street with us...all good fun.

Check out the name on the drum!

I'd have to say my favorite "float," though, was the beer dog:

Happy belated St. Patty's Day!
