Walkin' on Water

The highlight of my week was definitely Saturday, when Martin and I took the dog up to Beltzville, which is the state park right up the road from us. The temperature was in the sixties, and it was gorgeous, but when we got there, there were ice fishermen out on the lake.

Now, ordinarily, in sixty degree weather, you wouldn’t catch me trotting around on a frozen lake, but my husband (originally from Sweden, so I call him Nordic Man and defer to his knowledge of all things wintry) said it would be just fine, so—we did. It might not sound like a big deal, but it was pretty cool for me to be walking on the same water I’ll be swimming in with Sirius in a few months.

Spring is on the way—I’m so excited!

That's awesome that you got to walk on the lake... If only the lake near my house would freeze over once in a while.

Very cool,
